Clocks
Craftsmanship perfection in every detail
At the beginning of each clock from our manufacture is a concrete idea or an individual customer request. But it is a long way from these delicate beginnings, through the technical implementation, to the perfectly crafted clock. It is drawn, calculated, discarded again, constructed again and first tests on table clock prototypes are carried out. Suitable materials have to be selected, the later appearance of the dial and hands has to be determined and the case takes shape graphically. This is followed by the time of precise scribing, sawing, turning, filing, milling and hardening. More and more beautifully shaped and decorated parts fill the watchmaker's workplace and already give an idea of the shape of the finished movement. Individual assemblies are assembled before finishing, their function is accurately tested, gear meshing is meticulously adjusted and transferred to the movement plates. This is followed by the polishing and grinding of all parts of a movement before they receive a gold or rhodium coating. The final assembly of the clock resembles a celebration in which the clockmaker connects the parts that belong together and, piece by piece, completes the movement with the greatest care.
