Regulator NR 366
Long-running movement with regulator-dial
The long-runner among clocks is rightly considered as being the pinnacle of classical clockmaking. These movements require the utmost precision and both mathematically and physically correct handling of the driving forces. Matthias Naeschke has been involved with this level of horological engineering design since the beginning of his independent work on this topic. Already in the early 1990s with the longcase clock NL 365 and the regulator NR 365 our clockworks artisans built two remarkable timepieces that have already reached collector status.
The weight-driven regulator NR 366 with a classical seconds-beating pendulum and eight months of power reserve is the direct descendant of these clocks. For the first time at the Naeschke clockworks comes the regulator NR 366 which is a tribute to classic precision clocks. It indicates on separate sectors the hours, minutes and seconds - but now with a change in detail. In contrast to the classical regulator the seconds with the NR 366 are not indicated on a separate chapter ring but directly on the escape wheel of the clockwork. It has one 120 teeth and is engraved in ten-second steps. It makes a full turn in four minutes equivalent to 240 beats.
Clockwork

Dimensions
Height x width x depht: 169 x 37 x 21 cms
Variations
We offer different possibilities for individualization. The movements can be refined in yellow gold, rhodium or rose gold. The wooden cases can be adapted to existing interior fittings.
Power reserve of eight months
Using a small pointer, which points directly to the teeth of the escape wheel, the seconds can be read similarly as on the original regulator clocks with their seconds display on a dial. The numerals on the solid silver chapter rings are hand-worked by a master engraver piece by piece from this resilient material. The filigree minute hand is balanced in order to prevent torque distortion.
Unusual indication of seconds
The movement of the regulator NR 366 is available either gilded or rhodium plated. 4mm main plates, six precision ball bearings, four ruby bearings and ruby pallets at the anchor are just some of the premium features of this solid clockwork of the premium class. The NR 366 is housed in a fully glazed cabinet made of selected walnut.
